Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic manipulation is used to align the joints, primarily in the spine, but also in other parts of the body. Proper alignment will allow easier movement, more even muscle tone, and decreased pain. Dr. Uy primarily uses the Diversified Chiropractic technique to provide a comfortable and easy movement to align the spine. Also used is an adjusting tool called the Activator, which helps to easily adjust smaller joints (such as the TMJ). This can also be used for patients who are afraid of the “cracking” sound or, in rare cases, for patients who are unable to be fully manually adjusted.
